Ice cream, you scream

Okay, DRUMROLL....

Here are the shots of my first official photo shoot with L! I had so much fun doing this. There are almost 100 photos, but I hope you will at least take a couple minutes to see a few of them! There were so many cute ones, I couldn't leave any out. I put them in a slideshow to make it easier. Please leave me your feedback...I would love to hear what you think. ENJOY!

101 Lighting Demo

Here are some great shots of the cute models that willingly posed in the cold for hours today during our lighting demo. This was the last day of our photography class! Sad... I had so much fun and learned ALOT...definitely more than I knew before I started the class a month ago! I have only just begun this photography endeavor. Watch for many more great pictures to come from me and my camera!

Fun with shutter speed

I was playing around with my shutter speed yesterday and was able to get some cool shots of water running off of my roof. The first shot is what happened when I slowed down my shutter, blurring the water action. The second one is my favorite...I sped up my shutter, capturing the water droplets. What do you think?

When do I get my treat?

I gave her some chocolate for "cooperating" with me while I shot her today. I started getting irritated with her when she was not in the posing "mood", and she said to me, "Mommy, if you're going to be mad at me, then you don't deserve my love." Like I said before, WHERE does she get this stuff from? Probably me, right??

A different perspective

Okay, okay...due to popular demand (ha ha) I am willing to share a few of the shots from my recent photoshoot...yes, this time I am in FRONT of the camera! I did this shoot for a local clothing company in Park City called Locals Have More Fun. They make eco-friendly clothing that is not only cool but SUPER soft. Some of the t-shirts are made from bamboo and they are the most comfortable things ever. Go check them out: www.localshavemorefun.com

Livia, the barber

So, this morning my little princess decided to give herself a haircut! When I finally noticed what she had done to her beautiful, long blonde locks, I could only cry. She looked at me and said, "Oh mommy, only babies cry! It's going to be okay mommy, it will grow back." I asked her what she had done with her hair and she revealed to me that she had gotten rid of the evidence by throwing it in the trash can. I frantically dug through the trash, finally finding the gold curls amidst coffee grinds and yogurt lids. I pulled them out, and she said to me, "See mommy! There they are! Just glue them back on!" Where does she get this stuff from? You can't write this kind of material.

Check out her workmanship. The final product is very mullet-like. Business in the front, party in the back.

But how do you get mad at THIS?
