I know you are probably sick of hearing about this, but you must understand its meaning to me in full appreciation. I have wanted this week to pass as quickly as possible to get to today...and I could not sleep last night because I was so excited. I am worse than a child at Christmas. But this is the music that LIVES in me. My absolute two favorite bands that exist in this world. Coming together. To Salt Lake City. And the day is finally here. You better believe I will be rockin' it out tonight.

Another photoshoot is in the works!

My sister (the talented make-up artist) is flying in from Las Vegas the weekend of July 25-27 and we are looking for models to shoot!

We will be doing two photoshoots: Bridal and Pinup. Each individual session will last about two hours and we will provide you with lunch. Because we are shooting for our portfolio's, we cannot pay you...however, you will receive a CD with all of your photos. This is a great way to get some professional photos taken of you for free! We always have a lot of fun doing these shoots and promise to make it as painless as possible...

Fun in the sun...

Drumroll please....Okay, meet Katie, our gorgeous model for the day who saved our butts. Two of our models bailed on us at the last minute, but a quick phone call to Katie saved our day! She was perfect...we were able to do three different looks on her...high-fashion swim, and two different pin-ups. These are a few of the swim....and the shots I will be posting in the near future are only going to get better. Just thought I would give you a little tease....

And would you believe that this girl has never modeled before? She absolutely blew me away....I hardly had to coach her at all. She's a natural. Thanks Katie!


 
 
 
 

THE Photoshoot

I know everyone is super excited to see some of the shots from the photoshoot I did over the weekend in Las Vegas. Let me tell you, it turned out better than I could have hoped for. First of all, my sister is so talented...the makeup/hair/styling turned out beautiful and made my job very easy. She is amazing and I love her to death. Second of all, I appreciate everyone's love and support in my new endeavor as a photographer...I was absolutely meant to do this. I love it. And lastly, I took almost 800 pictures and am going to need some time to sort through them, retouch them, etc. So please be patient with me! I will however, post a few of the shots for you as a little "snack."

Okay, okay....

So it's not going to be all relaxation in Vegas. On Monday, I am doing a high fahion/swim photoshoot. My very talented sister will be doing the makeup and styling. I will also be taking some photos of her growing pregnant belly! Hopefully I come home with some great shots....stay tuned!!!

Viva Las Vegas....

I can't forget her signature "Spider Man" pose...she wants to be Spider Man when she grows up. Nope, not a princess, not a ballerina...but Spider Man. I'm so proud.

 

And the gold medal goes to...

L had her tumbling "graduation" from the Little Gym last weekend! She has been tumbling since she was 1 1/2 years old and has absolutely loved it! It has been so fun to watch her skills improve, but even better, to see her self-esteem SOAR! All of her grandparents were able to be there to see her graduate, and she was so proud...she kept looking over her shoulder at us with a little smile to make sure we were watching. Such a little show-off... :)
